If Manda leaves singt gefühlvolle Songs angefüllt mit Poesie und philosophisch aber auch teilweise kryptisch anmutenden Botschaften, in denen sich jeder irgendwie wieder finden kann. Die Begleitung auf der Gitarre ist leicht und besticht durch spannende gebrochene Akkorde mit kleinen Bassläufen.

Lasse Passage is not a pseudonym, but parts of the real name of the Norwegian singer and songwriter Lasse Passage Nøsted. In 2005 Lasse dropped out of art-school, took his guitar and a minimal amount of luggage and started traveling.

This first lead him to USA where he did some solo-gigs in the mid-west. A coherent acoustic focus began to flourish. The hunger for travel new experience continued from USA to Latin-America, India, through remote islands in Oceania, to Australia and Asia. 2 years and 5 continents later he came back to Oslo with some beautiful songs in his luggage.

Encouraged by his close friend and old school mate Jo Berger Myhre, they decided to record the songs together. Jo brought in the drummer Andreas Werliin from Wildbirds & Peacedrums and they recorded intensely a few days in Oslo. The producing and additional recording was done by Lasse and Jo in various people's apartments and bedrooms between the winter of 2007 and spring 2008.
