Summary And Countdown
As time goes by and days get longer, our stay in Hamburg during Winter 2010 / 2011 is going to end soon. On March 3rd the MS Stubnitz will leave the harbour, and enter the homeport Rostock / Germany on the 4th.

Over 50 productions and documentations of live events have been made by the Stubnitz Media Crew, including live acts like Hyperactive Kid, Lydia Lunchs "Twist Of Fate", Ahleuchatistas, Cleo T, Guts Pie Earshot and the amazing Attila Vural, mixed with a lot of other exciting bands, local heroes as well as international artists. Beside that, some theatre, dance- and acrobatic performances, photographic exhibitions, art installations, a film screening and a lot of dance events took place, and there are still some productions up to come during this last week.
So make sure to visit our media section soon to get a clue of what Stubnitz was doing in Hamburg over this 3 month period.
During daytime some improvements on the ship itself could be realized, so we're proud to introduce the new high definition TV screens in the factory, some development in our video - equipment as well as the release of this new homepage, not to forget all the paint jobs and conservation works, machine maintenance and million other things you probably won't realize when visiting us for getting some entertainment. Just to mention a few...

A lot of hands and brains and hearts were busy with handling all this, and we owe some huge gratitude to many people helping and supporting us.
Now the Stubnitz crew is looking forward to return to Rostock. The first dates have been confirmed, and it looks like if it's going to be a blazing springtime over there. Charles Hayward's "Heat", Analogik, Barberos, Scorn, Die Art... just to drop a few names.
Find out yourself in our new fancy calendar.
The Culture Ark is still afloat, so see you aboard then!

Vielen Dank für die Informationen
Sehr geehrte Stubnitz-Crew,
euer Ky
