Viele Jahre hat es gedauert, es wurde viel beraten und gemunkelt, jetzt ist es soweit: Heute, am 17.4. wird die neue Stubnitz Page im sich immer weiter ausbreitenden neuen Design aktiviert: www.stubnitz.com, Smartphonekompatibel, übersichtlich und mit neuer Datenbank und eigenem Ticketshop via Stager. Die nächsten Wochen werden noch einige Updates drüber laufen und es wird im Laufe des Jahres noch weitere Ergänzungen geben. Viel Spaß auf der neuen Page, wir sind uns ganz sicher, dass ihr so besser nachschauen könnt, wer und was wir eigentlich sind – und wann was bei uns an Bord passiert.

Am 16.08.2019 zum ersten Mal auf der MS Stubnitz zu Gast und an den Decks unterstützt durch Junge Obscur, Resident der Hamburger LOST PLACES-Partyreihe, bleibt sich der BETA-ZERFALL auch in 2019 nach wechselhafter Geschichte und längerer Pause treu in dem Ansatz, Szenen und Genres auch über stilistische Grenzen hinweg zusammenzuführen und dabei weitgehend auf digitale Tonträgerformate zu verzichten. baze.djunkiii und Herr Brandt spielen Vinyl only!
Ganze neun Jahre ist es mittlerweile her, dass sich die Hamburger DJ's baze.djunkiii und Herr Brandt zum ersten Mal unter dem Banner des BETA-ZERFALL versammelten, um klassische, wenn auch technisch grundverschiedene Herangehensweisen an die Kunst des Auflegens zu kombinieren und Brücken zwischen Musikstilen zu bauen.
Das Rezept: BETA-ZERFALL fusioniert kontemporären ElectroPunk mit raren Klassikern aus den Genres PostPunk, Industrial und (No)Wave, greift zuweilen in die Hitkiste der SynthPop-Ära, bringt klassisch geschulten Electro zusammen mit NuBeat wieder auf die Tanzfläche und scheut auch vor dem gelegentlichen Brückenschlag in Richtung ElectroClash und dem (Un)Genre IndieElectro nicht zurück, um kurz darauf tief in die Trickkiste mit EBM / Electronic Body Music zu fassen.
Eine hochexplosive Mischung, die sich auch in dem kürzlich erstmalig als limitierte 7“ Whitelabel-Vinylsingle auf dem Label El Caballo Semental veröffentlichten Remix wiederspiegelt, den baze.djunkiii & Herr Brandt für die Kieler Wave-/PostPunk-Legenden NO MORE produzierten.

INTIMATE STRANGER's dreamy sound is characterized by its melodic vocals and shimmery guitars. Described on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 radio program as "gritty and ethereal at the same time, with beautiful vocals and a balanced sound that is difficult to achieve".
Their post-punk influences of the likes of The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees merge with a dream pop sound characteristic of bands like the Cocteau Twins and Slowdive. As well as nod to mid-2000’s indie rock bands popular around the time Intimate Stranger was formed in 2007 by guitarist Lautaro Vera and singer Tessie Woodgate.
Although primarily based in Santiago, Chile, the band has a broad international pedigree having undertaken major tours in the USA, UK, Europe and South America. This includes recent extensive European tours in 2017 and 2018. Festivals have included Lollapolooza, Primavera Fauna, multiple SXSW shows and they have supported various international acts such as: Ed Sheeran, Raveonettes, Interpol, The Walkmen, Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) and A Place to Bury Strangers. Intimate Stranger have five studio albums, are currently working on their sixth, and have a European tour scheduled for summer 2019.

Within improvised scenarios he bends the tension of strings, springs and biased tubes, creating physical models of unheard nature. Some of this experiments have been released via Neoprimitive and his on 999USD imprint. He collaborated with Joachim Schütz as „Moorburg“ and Christian Naujoks as „Nowerk“.
