Viele Jahre hat es gedauert, es wurde viel beraten und gemunkelt, jetzt ist es soweit: Heute, am 17.4. wird die neue Stubnitz Page im sich immer weiter ausbreitenden neuen Design aktiviert: www.stubnitz.com, Smartphonekompatibel, übersichtlich und mit neuer Datenbank und eigenem Ticketshop via Stager. Die nächsten Wochen werden noch einige Updates drüber laufen und es wird im Laufe des Jahres noch weitere Ergänzungen geben. Viel Spaß auf der neuen Page, wir sind uns ganz sicher, dass ihr so besser nachschauen könnt, wer und was wir eigentlich sind – und wann was bei uns an Bord passiert.

Konzert und Record Release

Engel im Rausch heißt das inzwischen 5. Album der Grausamen Töchter, das im Herbst 2018 erscheint. Neben 17 Tracks mit ca 75 Minuten Dauer gibt es auch ein Bonus-Album mit Remixen u. a. von AND ONE, SUICIDE COMMANDO und CENTHRON. Das Ereignis wird in einer opulenten Konzert- und Partynacht natürlich in Hamburg am 30.11.2018 auf der MS Stubnitz gefeiert. Grausame Töchter stellen ihre neue ekstatische Show für die kommende Tour in einem 90minütigen Konzert vor.

Davor werden sie von sehr unterschiedlichen Künstlern wie UNTERSCHICHT, DEVIL-M, BETON BRAUT und BARABAZ supportet. Desdemona Sin von den SINDERELLAS wird den Abend moderieren. Ab Mitternacht legt dann die Berliner DJane Thenia AF zur Party auf.

Mit ihrem aktuellen Album "A Life Where Theres No More Pain" zeigen Life Of Agony, dass sie nach wie vor zu den wichtigsten Bands des Alternative Metal gehören. Auf ihrer Rise Of The Underground Tour beweisen Mina Caputo und ihre Jungs nun auch live, dass die Songs dieser Comeback-Platte mindestens auf Augenhöhe mit den Stücken von Großtaten wie "River Runs Red" und "Soul Searching Sun" stehen.

Zum Auftakt der Deutschland-Termine haben sich Life Of Agony etwas Besonderes überlegt: Am 10. Oktober spielen sie im kleinen Rahmen im stählernen Bauch der MS Stubnitz im Hamburger Hafen - das Ticketkontingent ist begrenzt. Bei allen Terminen werden übrigens Billy Bio, das neue Projekt von Billy Graziadei (Biohazard, Powerflo), dabei sein, um alte und neue Hardcore- und Crossover-Kracher zu präsentieren.

Rising Appalachia bringen eine vielfältige Sammlung von Klängen, Geschichten und Liedern auf die Bühne, traditionsreich und in Hingabe an die Vielfalt der Kulturen der Welt. Sie spüren eine tiefe Verbindung zur ursprünglichen Musik und haben es zu ihrem Lebenswerk gemacht, Lieder zu singen, die mit etwas sehr Altem und dennoch Zeitlosen in Verbindung treten.
Geleitet von den Stimmen der beiden Schwestern Leah und Chloe und zusammen mit ihrer Band, dem Percussionist Biko Casini und dem Bassisten und Gitarristen David Brown, kreieren Rising Appalachia einen Schmelztiegel treibender Tanzrhythmen und voller Vertrauen, dass wir in offener & inklusiver Gemeinschaft in unser höchstes Potential wachsen werden.
Als Nomadenband ziehen sie seit zwölf Jahren auf ihrem farbenfrohen Weg durch die Länder dieser Erde, im September kommen sie nach Deutschland und laden ein zu einer Nacht voller Wünsche & Wunder!

Sisters Leah & Chloe are the collective voice that leads Rising Appalachia, a melting pot of folk music simplicity, textured songwriting, and those bloodline harmonies that only siblings can pull off. Live: Bone Zeno & The Cool - 06. September 2018

Some people need to create in order to remain sane and BONE ZENO confesses he is one of those lost souls who will need to drain the beastly venom of hyperactivity from his veins until the Devil needs an overcoat. An animal of instinct, he tunes into a higher power allowing creativity to flow and mutate into the plethora of musical styles that can be found in his recordings and live performances. Born in the 1970s, BONE ZENO is one of the Last Mohicans: a bastard child of Hippiedom and Punk Anarchy, bringing their message to present and future generations.
This nomadic musician considers himself a Londoner, but has rested his head on many a dirty pillow. His one track mind concentrating on the creation of music that embodies his spirit, he takes inspiration from an array of surprising stimuli. Arab rhythms played in a Marakesh cab ride, bustling traffic and his own footsteps pounding down the Reeperbahn, the energy of rage in his Slayer records... all these coagulate as acacophonous soup poured into primitive mobile phone recordings, to later be dissected and repeated over and over until the shambolic storm of self-hate and love is refined and tamed into something that sounds like him and no-one else.
Moody and alone, but not a loner, BONE ZENO is usually a solo act. In 2016, however, BONE ZENO was signed to Berlin music label Impression,a move that conducted the static cloud that was his European tour (see also: homelessness) and discharged it in the form of his first album, BLACK MILK, recorded at Impression’s studio with three guest musicians. The title and indeed musical content of BLACK MILK has so much poetic vibration, he explains: “You don’t see the light if there is no dark”.

La Cafetera Roja wurde 2008 in Barcelona gegründet. Den Ruf "Made in Europe" verdanken sie ihrer Herkunft (Frankreich, Österreich und Spanien) und den 5 verschiedenen Sprachen (Englisch, Spanisch, Deutsch, Französisch und Italienisch), welche sich in einem Klang vereinen. Durch die spontane explosive Energie ist La Cafetera Roja eine Band, die man erst “live and direct” so richtig auskosten kann. In einer Mischung verschiedener Kulturen und Stilen findet sich ein einzigartiges Rezept zum geniessen. Genre: Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop & Latin.
In einer eleganten Show voll von Überaschungen wird das Publikum verführt und in eine Welt voll Rage und Hochgefühl getaucht. Nach mehr als 300 Gigs und support Gigs für Wax Tailer, Dope D.O.D., Ayo und mehr ist die Band unaufhaltbar.

Jonathan Bree is a composer, multi- instrumentalist and producer from New Zealand. And one of the coolest persons we know. His upcoming third album ‘Sleepwalking’ (June 6th, Lil' Chief) has a heavy orchestrated element featuring real strings, horns, celeste and soprano vocals. The arrangements draw distinct influence from orchestral pop of a bygone era (think Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra), but many of the songs dip in and out of the avant-garde in a way that is also distinctly modern. Jonathan’s runaway hit ‘You’re So Cool’ features his mysterious masked band was voted best music video of 2017 by Time Out New York. A plucked cello, minimal bassline and drum pattern ground Jonathan’s trademark ‘bendy strings’ which make a number of appearances across the album.

A self-confessed workaholic and social recluse, Jonathan spends his days (and nights) in a dingy home office attempting to run his record label Lil’ Chief Records (who have put out albums by the likes of Princess Chelsea, Ruby Suns, Sheep,Dog&Wolf and his previous band The Brunettes) whilst simultaneously producing albums for artists such as Princess Chelsea,directing and starring in viral music videos for duets about Cigarette Smoking (yes THAT video) and then somehow finding time to record his own material when he should be sleeping.

Pilantragi - Brazilian Festival :: 28. July 2018

PILANTRAGI, ein Festival aus Sao Paulo in Hamburg!

Geboren wurde das Projekt als ein Künstlerkollektiv in 2012 und verbindet seither Kunst, Musik und tausende Menschen. Seit 2016 sind sie in Europa unterwegs und dieses Jahr erstmalig in Hamburg präsentiert von BEZA.
Pilantragi versteht es, die Wurzeln Brasiliens und die modernen Einflüsse zu verbinden und ist fern ab des Samba Klischees. Eklektische Klänge die von Nord- bis Südbrasilien führen, von MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) über Afro/Indio Sounds bis hin zu psychedelic Rock, Funk, Soul, Elektro, Hip Hop uvm.
Begleitet wird das Event von der Ausstellung "The Children Of The Forgotten", von Fernanda Brandao. Sie zeigt Bilder, die während ihres Aufenthalts in einem Indianer Stamm im Amazonas entstanden sind und erinnert uns daran, verdrängte Kulturen nicht weiter zu verdrängen sonder zu integrieren und zu fördern.

An Deck wird der Gast mit Brasilianischen Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Pao de Queijo, Coxinhas... lecker!

__ Braintheft ___ ist ein Irisch-Französisches live Trio aus Berlin.
Ihr mystischer und sphärenreicher Sound ist tief im Dub verwurzelt, kreiert durch Live-Schlagzeug, tiefen E-Bass und eine ganze Reihe von Synthesizern. Von Dubstep über Drum & Bass kombinieren Braintheft den tief verwurzelten Dub-Sound mit schnelleren und schwereren Styles. Aus dem Mix entseht ein Hybrid-Spacship, das zum träumen einlädt.
