Das Berliner Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra besteht aus 18 jungen Musikern unterschiedlichster musikalischer und kultureller Herkunft. Gegründet 2006 zeichnet sich die Formation durch 'unerschrockene Neugier und Offenheit für fast alles' (H. Sieverts) aus und spielt mit höchster Präzision Kompositionen des Ensembleleiters und Saxophonisten Daniel Glatzel, die jenseits von Jazz, neuer Musik, Klassik und Pop jedem Instrument der ungewöhnlichen Besetzung Raum geben.

Berlin’s Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra is made up of 18 young musicians with a multiplicity of musical and cultural roots. Founded in 2006, this extraordinary formation plays compositions by the ensemble director and saxophonist Daniel Glatzel.

EINLEITUNGSZEIT (live | Ars Morta Universum | Czech Republic/Slovakia) This Slovak band exists more than 14 years. The early experiments later led to ultimate death-industrial sound which brought EINLEITUNGSZEIT status one of genre top-classics. Longtime original set-up changed in 1999 when P-01 (Patryc Cyber) was replaced by hallucinatory throat of Martin Jarolim (from VO.I.D). P-01 capitulated and still dedicates himself to his solo project SIMULACRVM which debut CD "Zevgma" was released two years ago on OLD EUROPA CAFÉ. After many releases are EINLEITUNGSZEIT well-known worldwide nowadays and their live performances have been seen by audiences not only in Slovakia and Czechia but also in Poland and Germany – with more then positive reaction and successful acceptance. Besides Polish tour are also planned the European and American ones for 2001 (Fire Martyr US Tour). The very first tapes "Die Menschzerstörung", "Menschliche Destruktive Zivilisation and Kremation Gesch-Lechtslos" were released by Slovak CREWZINE. This material was followed by LP Aus dem Laboratorium on German ART KONKRET label. Another release "L´accouchement des machines humaines" was realized on Finnish label FRAK ANIMAL. Afterwards American cult RECALCITRANT NOISE took care about this project and the results were two vinyl albums "R Mensch I Tanatologie" (2x12" LP) and "Aus der Leichenkammer" which was censored on Slovakia because of quite shocking and unacceptable cover. During 1999 was recorded and released first EINLEITUNGSZEIT CD "Doba uvodu", unfortunately after split of the original set-up and leaving of Patrick. This could be called as a truly memento of the „old time Einleitungszeit". First EINLEITUNGSZEIT video release "Schrei des Feuers" (organic live performance 1999) was released on ARS MORTA UNIVERSUM on the eve of 1999 and the second one HIRNLARM (inhuman solarized vision of live performance from 1997) on the same label a year later. Now different labels plan re-releases of mentioned older stuff – "Die Menschzerstörung" CD should be released on BLACK PLAGVE, LP "Menschliche Destruktive Zivilisation" should appear in the catalogue of RECALCITRANT NOISE and LP/CD "Kremation Gesch-Lechtslos" will be put out by ARS MORTA UNIVERSUM. EINLEITUNGSZEIT live actions are very intense, often described as „negative or destructive", but they have more common with ecstasy when R-01 uses grinder directly on his chest (protected only with thin metal plate) or burning his hands with asbestos gloves or grinding an iron band around his neck. Sometimes, these emanations of joy could not be left without a harm; R-01 was burned or hit by electricity for many times. The sound is absorbing, clear and powerful. Forty minutes of their stage storm brings ecstasy and feelings of transformation through sound, spirit and fire. Derepetative confiteor of momentus of our bystanding passing presence one more time thrown into meltage of relentless furnace to liquefy known tissues of knowledge in transcendental comprehension of encumbered soil we standing on and the processes beneath surface. KNIFELOOP (live PA | Salon Bruit e.V., nOISIV | Ireland/Germany, Berlin) Séamus O´Donnell (kNiFeLoOp) works as artist and organiser on different sound art projects since 1999. Solo or collaborative projects (for performance or installations) can include FM radio experiments with receivers and self built mini-transmitters; reel-to-reel tape machine loop or relay set ups; or a live set with a any mix of manipulated field recordings, self made devices and other more traditional instruments, objects, voice and machines. As an organiser he works mostly with SALON BRUIT e.V., an association for audience and composers interested in experimental music, radio and video works. Objects and field recordings collected in the city of the performance are elevated to a new status. They become ambassadors of the culture, truth-sayers of the urban experience and representatives of the every day life of that city. In the process of sampling and manipulating the sounds a new (but old) story is teased into being, persuaded to reveal the epic journey of its city. His work could be described as "terrestrial ambient", "living room psychedelic music" and "organic noise". Während der Dockung blieb wenig Zeit, aktuell zu berichten. Auch die Medien-Crew an Bord war mit 2 Schichten pro Tag in den Schichtbetrieb eingebunden.. Überdies ist im Dock alles umständlich: an Bord gibt es kein Frischwasser, keine Duschen und Toiletten, keine Abflüsse, auch nicht in der Kombüse.
Mit ein paar Fotos wird deswegen hier ein kurzer Rückblick nachgeliefert, dabei werden nicht alle relevanten Themen berührt, aber einige Impressionen sollten damit vermittelt werden können.
Die Stubnitz ist frisch eingedockt. Die Anker und die Ankerketten liegen schon im Dock unten. Nach dem Waschen der Außenhaut ist für die Crew ein Hauptaufwand das punktuelle Bearbeiten der beschädigten Oberflächen mit Rotationsdüse und 500 bar Wasserdruck. Eine Oberfläche von 2.400 m² wurde
